Schjelderup expressed his regret over the case, which he says is poorly timed, as Norway is set to play crucial World Cup qualifiers next week. He will appear in Copenhagen City Court on November 19, where the case will be heard as a confession.
The charge against Schjelderup is under Section 235, Section 2, of the Danish Penal Code, which deals with possession or sharing of sexual material with persons under the age of 18.
